10.00am – 12.30pm
Are you thinking of starting a family?
Are you experiencing difficulties in conceiving?
Have you been diagnosed with unexplained infertility?
Are you considering starting an IVF/ICSI cycle?
Have you been through several IVF/ICSI cycles, without success?
Would you like to learn more about how you can improve your fertility?
If you have answered ‘yes’ to one or more of these questions, then this seminar will provide you with invaluable information on how you can increase your chances of a successful pregnancy – whether you are starting IVF or looking for a more natural approach.
It is estimated that one in four couples have problems conceiving. Approximately 1/3 of the problems can be attributed to the female, 1/3 to the male and the remainder is a combination of both. Therefore it is important that both the male and female make the necessary changes to improve their overall health.
Preparing your body for a healthy pregnancy is essential to increasing your chances of conception. We will explore topics that will help you to understand how the male and female reproductive systems function so that you are better equipped to make the right choices for you. Dietary habits affect sperm production, ovulation and the female hormone cycle, so nutrition for fertility will be discussed in depth, as well as lifestyle and emotional factors.
Ovulation is key to conception, so ladies will learn:
- How to track ovulation using a basal body temperature chart
- How to interpret the chart during different phases of the menstrual cycle
- How to improve/assist ovulation
- How to regulate/improve your menstrual cycles
All information in this seminar will be given to you as a printed handout. You will learn what to expect from an IVF / ICSI cycle and you will also have the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns that you may have.
This seminar is open to individuals as well as couples. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
